Hey, I know - let’s fire ninety percent of photographers who work in porn/erotica. The people laid off can sign up to work as assistants for this gentleman. After an apprenticeship, funded by the stimulus package, they can return to making a living shooting truly erotic photos. In five years the word “porn” will become an arcane factoid. Meanwhile, erotic photography will not be left to tumblr, Taschen, crudely designed websites or brown paper bags. You’ll be able to go to a library in any major city and walk into their tastefully decorated erotic photography section, provided you are old enough and have valid ID to prove it.
